Hye, here we go to the Perlis attraction. Before that, did you know the seven wonders of Perlis? Let's start our journey and more deeper about seven wonders of perlis!



 The first wonders in perlis is Chuping Sugarcane Plantation.

Chuping Sugarcane Plantation

Chuping is taken from the name of Batu Kapur Hill where the call is usually Chuping Hill. Here are 22,000 hectare of sugar cane for manufacturing purposes. Chuping is the largest sugar plantation in Malaysia. It it hottest area in Malaysia where the highest temperature ever recorded was 40.1 Celsius on April 1998.










The second wonders is Tin Dam Tasoh.

If you are nature lover, Tin Dam Tasoh certainly was in the register of your mind as peaceful place.  Tin Dam  worth RM 77 Million, which was built in 1987 formed a man made lake covering area of 13.3 square kilometres in area Berseri when it began operating in 1992. It is intended as a center for the use of rainwater catcthment population of Perlis. The dam is that it can hold water of 33.3 million cubic meters.

Snake and Reptile Farm

The next wonders is Snake and Reptile Farm. Snake farm was created as a result of research on the habitat of the snake species found in Malaysia. It is research and breeding snake farm in Malaysia. At Snake Farm, there are more than 20 species of snakes and other species such as crocodile, lizards, turtle and others.

Harumanis Mango

Next wonders is Harumanis Mango.

Harumanis Mango is one of the major tourism products in the state of Perlis. It is located in Bukit Bintang, Sungai Batu Pahat. Mango farm is a very unique one as there was not in ither state. the fruit flavor and distrinctive aroma has attracted visitor to visit this farm. It could only be enjoyed once a year around Mar-June.

Laksa Kuala Perlis

Did you waiting for other wonders in Malaysia? Laksa Kuala Perlis is famous laksa in Perlis. Laska is made from rice flour, fish soup have appetite to eat. The food so well known along the coast, especially in Kuala Perlis. They use a certain mold in order to produce drops of laksa. The broth make from boiled fish, crushed and cooked with flavor.

Seafood also one of the wonders in Perlis. Seafood is very famous in Kuala Perlis. Seafood serve here are fresh. A variety of food are available to meet the appetite of visitors. Typically enjoyed seafood at night while the wind-blown sea breeze.

Padang Besar

The last wonders in Perlis is Padang Besar. Padang Besar is located 37Km from the town Kangar,Perlis bordering Thailand. It is one of the main entrances and exists of the population to neighboring countries. Padang Besar is famous location that offer open air market in the country.

Kota Kayang Museum

Attraction places at Perlis!! Have you been to Kota Kayang Museum? Kota Kayang Museum is located around Kayang Hill, Lambong Panah Hill and Menara Kayang Hill in Kayang vicinity the oldest man-made canal in pemisular Malaysia. What? Fee? Don't worry, actually admission fee is free! :) The operating hour is from 0900 a.m. until 0500 P.m. It is open daily and only closed during Hari Raya Aidilfitri and Hari Raya Aidiladha. The Snake and Reptile Farm are including one of the wonders in Perlis. Thank You for stay tuned! You've never been to Perlis unless ? You've been to Snake Farm. It is the only Snake Farm ever built in Malaysia. The Farm is the major tourist attraction not only in Perlis, but the entire country Malaysia. The main objective of the establishment of the Snake and Reptile Farm is to aid in the research in the production of anti-venom

for local consumption by the institute of Medical Research in Malaysia. It was established with a showcase of about 200 snakes of 24 different species from Malaysia and also the others parts of the world including King Cobra and Python Out of 34 species, there are a total of 10 species are poisonous. Reptiles that are to been seen lying around in the Farm are crocodile, lizards, iguanas and others. The farm can be divided into two major parts, one with open air enclosure and closed exhibit. For those who brave persons, you can have a picture or two with safe snake coiling on your arm or shoulder under the assistance of the handlers and professionals in the farm.Snake Farm opening daily on 0900 a.m until 0500 p.m. the admission fee only RM 4.00 for adult and RM 1.00 for children. Cheaper right? With RM 4.00 you can explore around the Farm without any additional fee.

Perlis Herbal Forest

 Shall we continue to our next place? Let's go to the Perlis Herbal Forest. Herbal Forest was established in 1998 with an area of 12 hectares. The park is home to a collection of herbs work for medicinal plant used by local people in particular and other medicinal plants in general. It also can be used as 'museum' where the medical plant garden is open to visitor throughout the country who want to know and understand the types and uses of the these plants. Collection of plant found here consist of the existing wild plants in the garden (in-situ) , medical brought in from elsewhere (ex-situ) and medical plant that are from another country that has long been introduced in the State. Untill year 2000, Herbs Garden collection was reached up to 600 species. Among the well known medical plants here are Tongkat Ali (eurycoma) , Kacip Fatimah ( Labisia Pumila ), Ginger , Noni/Mengkudu ( Morinda Citrufolia ) and others.
